Works-in-progress include "The Ambassador" based on the critically acclaimed book by Bragi Ólafsson, "A Girl I Knew", directed by Ásgrímur Kr Sverrisson and "Three Ways", directed by Baldvin Z.
"Jitters" has been screened at over 20 festivals in this year alone and won the prestigious Don Quixote Awards at the Kristiansand International Festival. Distribution rights for "Jitters" have been sold to the USA, the UK, France, Benelux, Germany and Austria, et al.

Coming-of-age drama "Jitters" has been awarded the Don Quixote Award at the Kristiansand International Children's Film Festival as well as being selected as the opening film in the youth section.
The jury stated that "Jitters", this year's recipient of the plaque bestowed by the International Federation of Film Societies (IFFS), marked an impressive debut by director Baldvin Z and praised the film's upbeat treatment of a sensitive theme.
Last year's winner was the much fêted "Fish Tank".
"Jitters" just made a clean sweep in the category for Icelandic films
at the Kvikmyndir.is Festival in Reykjavík. Baldvin Zophoniasson was chosen the best
director, Atli Óskar Fjalarsson the best actor, Hreindís Ylva
Garðarsdóttir Holm the best actress and "Jitters" was voted film of the
year.

Coming-of-age drama "Jitters" begins its festival run at the Toronto International Film Festival / Sprockets 2011.
"Jitters" is director Baldvin Z's auspicious feature debut and sports a
remarkable performance by Atli Óskar Fjalarson in the lead role.

"Jitters" has just garnered ten nominations for the prestigious Edda
Award - the Icelandic equivalent of the Oscar and the César - including
every major category, film of the year, director of the year, script of
the year, best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, best
supporting actress, cinematography of the year, score of the year and
sound design of the year.
Needless to say, all the nominees are already feeling, well, jittery.
"The Ambassador", based on Bragi Ólafsson's novel by same name, is
now in development. The "Ambassador" is the first of a quartet of
novels, but Bragi Ólafsson's second book in the series "Letters of
Intent" was just published to rave reviews. "The Ambassador" has
already been translated into English and received glowing reviews
in The Financial Times and The LA Times.

Icelandic coming-of-age drama "Jitters" opened to stellar reviews as five critics gave the film a four-star rating. The film immediately hit second spot on the Icelandic box office list Only "The Social Network" had better box office returns over
the weekend.
Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre has been picked up for distribution in
the US, UK, the Middle East, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Japan
and France, among the distributors are El, Image, Front Row, Pegas Film,
Telepool, Uplink and Initiative Cinema.
Rites-of-passage film Órói aka Jitters by first-time director Baldvin Z
will be premiered in Iceland October 14.

Comedy/drama about a journalist who has fallen from grace because of
his excessive drinking and decides to salvage his relationship with a
romantic weekend. When that very weekend his editor decides to give him
one last chance and sends him to investigate an incident at a dam, he
makes the fateful mistake of bringing his girlfriend along. Written
and directed by Borkur Gunnarsson.
The coming of age movie Órói aka Jitters has wrapped and is now in post-production.
This is the first feature by Icelandic Wunderkind director Baldvin Z.
The film will be released in the summer of 2010.
