The coming of age movie Órói aka Jitters has wrapped and is now in post-production. This is the first feature by Icelandic Wunderkind director Baldvin Z. The film will be released in the summer of 2010.

RWWM at Screamfest

Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre will be screened at the Screamfest in Los Angeles. The festival is the biggest horror film festival in the USA and has screened films such as Wolf Creek and 28 Days Later.

How To Win A Lost Game premiered

The documentary How To Win a Lost Game by the well known author, Einar Már Guðmundsson, was premiered on the 24th of September and was well received by the audience.  

Former president Vigdís Finnbogadóttir was the guest of honor.

RWWM rights sold to E1

How To Win a Lost Game

The award-winning novelist Einar Már Guðmundsson is directing a documentary on the Icelandic AA soccer team, "How To Win a Lost Game" which will premiere in October 2009.
Rock Bottom is an Icelandic comedy by Börkur Gunnarsson starring Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, Björn Thors, Jón Páll Eyjólfsson, Maríanna Clara Lúthersdóttir and Guðrún María Bjarnadóttir. A drinking problem threatens to ruin the life and work of a young journalist. Rock Bottom has just finished shooting and will be realeased in January 2010. More info: www.facebook.com/thettareddast
Jumble (or Órói) recieved a grant from the Icelandic Film Centre and starts shooting 18. October 2009. Baldvin Z is directing.

The production of the film will be resumed by director Renny Harlin. Oscar-winning Hollywood makeup artist Greg Cannom remains in charge of the main character’s aging makeup.

The editing of Reykjavik Whale Watching has been closed and post production at www.molinare.co.uk www.molinare.co.uk/ in London is well on schedule. The movie will be ready in the end of July and premiere in Iceland 09.09.09. New trailer will be out in June
